When trying to save some pennies in the make-up world, there are some products you can scrimp on, and some are just worth those extra bucks, as the budget buy option just don’t cut it! Well, that’s what I used to think BTB (before Tanya Burr) Tirelessly plugging the wonder that are ‘drug store’ brands – Rimmel stay matte powder anyone!? A whole new beauty door has been opened for me. I don’t really like spending a lot of money on concealers, just because I’ve always viewed them as a bit of a snore product – not fun like MAC’s bright lip offerings, or Nars pigmented shadows. Still, concealer is a product us beauty junkies gotta have, so I love that I’ve now found an amazing budget buy.
Bourjois Healthy Mix radiance and anti fatigue concealer is a delight. Besides the fact that it’s wonderfully friendly to the wallet, its a dream to use. Amazingly smooth to apply, it conceals dark circles like no other. The apricot in this adds radiance, and the raspberry is a micro-circulation activator, which admittedly – I have no idea what that is, but hey, it sounds impressive. Whilst I love this for below the peepers, don’t apply this on to spots. Anyone fancy a nicely enhanced radiant spot? Didn’t think so.
Tanya loves the Bourjois foundation of the same range, so you know what’s next up on my budget buy skin campaign! Mr Armani need not fret just yet, I’m still loving his wondrous offerings. I just gotta share the love, and budget buy’s are where its at. It is coming up to Christmas after all! Yep I said that. Sorry.
