Bourjois Volumizer Mascara – The review!

Bourjois Volumizer Mascara – The review!

As a product junkie, I’ll admit, I must have tried every Mascara to hit the shops. I like to think of myself as a bit of a Mascara connoisseur. I love giving a new Mascara a whirl, and being a contact lenses wearer, I’m probably an even tougher critic than most. This is namely because I can’t bare flaky mascara, that flakes off in to the ol’peepers, leaving me rubbing my eyes all day, half blinded. Not cool.

So to cut to the chase; the mascara in the hot seat today is the Bourjois Volumizer Mascara. This mascara promises to give your lashes 11 x the volume by simply applying the mascara in two steps, and it really does just that.

I’ve tried other mascaras that claim this kind of thing before, and they are normally a bit gimmicky and don’t really work. This mascara is actually excellent, as you can chose to use just step one for the day, or if you don’t really want to have huge lashes. Or chose to apply step one and two, for a super thick, false lash effect.

If you ever tried a mascara before that promises to give a false lash effect, and felt disappointed, the Bourjouis Volumizer will really make up for the ones that fell short.

When I first used this mascara, I thought it worked by having two separate brushes, one thinner and one thick and full – but no! The same mascara wand and brush is used for step one and two, the difference being that step one removes a lot of the product from the wand when you apply, and step two doesn’t remove any product from the wand at all.

This mascara is really like buying two mascaras for the price of one, as you have your natural day look mascara, and your glamorous fuller lash mascara. I also loved that it really didn’t flake off, even on a gal like me who is constantly rubbing her eyes.

So there you have it….This mascara is a winner!
