Two words I like a lot; Budget and Miracle. Yes please. When the L’Oreal Miracle Blur surfaced on my radar it had to be mine, and when you add in the word ‘blur’ I’m expecting big things. For some reason I was expecting this to be something of a BB cream, foundation esque in appearance, with gorgeous skin upon application. Well, that was surprise number one as this is nothing like a BB cream. This is completely clear and it’s consistency is similar to a silicone based primer. The MAC matte-ifying cream came to mind when I first applied the L’Oreal Miracle Blur, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing, just unexpected.
So what is this stuff?
L’Oreal Miracle Blur is hailed as a one-step product that will literally ‘blur’ imperfections on your skin, minimizing fine lines and reducing the appearance of large pores. The idea is, you apply this after moisturizer and before foundation, but if you have amazing skin (keep that to yourself!) you can wear this alone.
What did you think? It makes your skin feel nice and smooth, and yes I think it definitely does minimize pores, but it also feels like it ‘sits’ on the skin. I wouldn’t use this on it’s own as I don’t think my skin is good enough, and let’s face it doesn’t really create ‘miracles’ here. It is nice to wear under foundation though as it gives you the appearance of a more flawless base.
Bottom Line?! It’s nice but not a necessity. A great budget alternative to higher end primers, if you will!
Have you tried this product? If so what did you think?
