Do you ever feel like sometimes you’ve found your happy place? Then, you wonder how on earth no one built said happy place years ago? That’s how I feel about Charlotte Tilbury. The shops are beautiful, the concept is simple (yet revolutionary) and the make-up looks as beautiful on your face as it will on your dressing table.
What’s not to love?
My latest dalliance with the brand? The Magic Foundation that I spotted being sported on my friend’s face. She’s a make-up artist so she knows a thing or tow about a great product and this baby made her skin glow. Jealousy reared its ugly head and I had to have me some Magic Foundation in my life.
Like Charlotte, I believe that if you give a woman the right make-up, she can indeed conquer the world. For me, there’s no better place to start when it comes to make-up than foundation – the ultimate blank canvas creator.
Magic Foundation is lightweight and packed full of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to give your skin a dose of glow and moisture in one nifty bottle. It’s designed to really plump out the skin, minimise age spots and tighten pores to create the ultimate flawless finish. The best part is that Magic Foundation provides full coverage – something that a glowing foundation can often fall short on, and if you’re like me, you can’t really deal with sheer coverage. I went for the shade Medium and found it give me some warmth without making me look like I just came back from sunny shores. Although that can also be achieved.
In a nutshell, Magic Foundation is one to get your hands on and I’ve tried many in my day. Having said that, the whole brand is pretty dreamy and I would definitely recommend booking a consultation to check out all ‘The Looks’ and really get to play around with the products. This is the stuff Hollywood Faces are made from.
