I’m beginning to think that Origins can do no wrong. For real. On my last perusal in store, I was gently lured into spending more than I’d planned, just to get the free gift, (that’s just how I roll apparently) and ended up buying the Dr Andrew Weil for Origins, Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum. I was promised that this would be ideal for my dry flaky skin, which nothing – I mean no cream EVER, has been able to help me with. Now this bottle was very pricey at $70 so all I have to say is Origins have good sales people, but at least what they sale is amazing!
So I had high hope’s – especially as I’d laid down a small fortune to try this – but thankfully it really did releive my skin and dramatically reduce the flakes and dry texture of my skin. To me.. that is honestly nothing short of miraculous as I’ve literally tried EVERYTHING hoping it would do what this did.
This serum is best for redness and sensitive skin, and the patent-pending, clinically-proven serum features Dr. Weil’s famed mega-mushroom blend now fortified with Chaga and Pleurotus Mushrooms and Sea Buckthorn. It’s designed to smooth skin, relive it and ultimately make it more resilient whilst also slowing down aging. This my friends is the stuff beauty dreams are made of! Amazing for anyone with rosacea or any other form of skin sensitivity.. I encourage you to give this a try.
OK – now the love letter to this beautiful serum is over I’ll tell you the ONE bad thing about it…. it smells gosh, darn awful. I can’t explain the smell exactly, but pleasant it is not. I would almost be a bit worried to use this during the day in case people came close enough to me to smell it. Still if you use this at night it’s great and no one will know!
Honestly the smell is a small price to pay for the amazing results that this serum gives. It is AH.. MAZING!! To be fair, I haven’t read any other reviews about people not liking the scent.. so maybe it’s just me ( which is a bit worrying) Still, perhaps just douse on a little extra perfume when you use this!
