Let’s start by saying, how great is the name of this product! Bouncy? Yes please. Youth? Naturally. Sleeping. My fave! Well done Body Shop, one star already for Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask – the name is awesome. For those who aren’t familiar with night time masks, you simply whack on at night, you drift off and let it get to work, waking up with a peachy complexion. What’s not to love about that! The best part is, this goes on clear, so there’ll be no terrifying the bejesus out of your sleeping companion.
Body Shop’s Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask is the latest product from the Nutriganics range, designed to restore, smooth and create lovely soft skin upon waking. The consistency of this product is so fun. White, jelly-ish and reminds me of the ‘slime’ from Ghost Busters. It’s gooey, indeed bouncy, slow moving and retains it’s shape. It’s one of those products that really needs to be poked and prodded to know what I mean! I’m guessing that it’s probably the silicone in the product that keeps it so ‘bouncy.’
I’ve been applying this each night after ANR and instead of moisturiser and I love the scent, although those who are sensitive to perfumes may find it too much. A little, slimy, a whole lotta interesting – Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask is a real dupe for the Origins Drink Up Mask.
Apparently this weird pot of wonder comes with a scoop, but I didn’t get one, so I simply plop finger in pot and slather on face. Simples. I wake up with seriously soft skin. No lies. However, having used this every night for at least month now, I’m wondering if this is making me break out…..I’ve had quite a few spots recently and this is one of the only ‘new’ products at the moment. It’s pretty addictive though so I don’t know if I can quit this every night, but I may try and prise my monkey like grip off it for 3-ish nights. Spots or dry skin – it’s seriously a tough call. Plus, it’s just so fun to play with!
