On a recent trip to the Nordstrom beauty hall, a place I’m often found, I decided to take the big eye brow plunge, and go all Anastasia, whose motto should be; no skinny brows allowed! We’re talking full on brows here, no spindly spiders legs or highly arched curves to be seen. Anasatsia the brow wizz, likes Hollywood brows; groomed natural, and totally face flattering.
I’ve had brow trouble for as long as I can remember, and have tried everything from threading, to plucking, not forgetting a bit of eyebrow waxing thrown in for good measure, in the aim to gain the beautiful face framing brow. The eyebrows can literally transform the look of your face, but all too often it can be terribly hard to look at ourselves with different, altered brows.
The Anastasia brow kit is used following careful waxing by one of the Anastasia brow gurus, then a template of the brow that suits you best (mine was the mid arch) is carefully applied, and finally sealed with a brow wax / gel. I’ll be honest I wasn’t entirely convinced big brows suited me, I’ve always been a barely there brow gal. These were some serious brows that were on my face, the word caterpilla even comes to mind, although with the waxing done, I was assured they would look amazing. Fastforward to plentiful compliments on the new and apparently improved brows, and I was sold *ish* on the bigger is better brow thang. Please excuse the iphone pictures!
Only problem for me was that its a pretty pricey investment. The waxing was around $30 and the brow set is between $65-$85, and you have to keep this up. I’m still rockin’ a slightly thinner brow for now, until I’m ready to take on a pricy eyebrow investment.
Do you like big brows!?
