If you’re looking for a seriously gorgeous perfume, that will look as good on your dressing table as it smells, the new My Burberry is it. With a stunning tortoise shell lid, a cute and sophisticated, caramel bow that honours the fabric invented by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago, this perfume is just stunning. Plus you can even have it monogrammed, so there’s an anniversary idea right there! It’s inspired by the classic Burberry trench coat, with the bold horn cap, mirroring the buttons on the coat. Basically, if your budget doesn’t stretch as far as owning your very own Burberry trench, this darling perfume is the next closest (wallet friendly) thing.
It’s a beautiful floral scent that’s supposed to be like the scent of a London garden after it’s rained, but for me this is much more of a rich evening smell, that just screams luxe! A few spritzes of this and you feel expensive. Combining sweet pea and bergamot fused with geranium leaf, golden quince and freesia heart, balanced by a base of patchouli and rain-tipped damask and centifolia roses – this is one perfume that I would encourage you to go and have a smell. If only to admire the beautiful bottle.
