Look One!

Eudon Choi SS16
London Fashion Week Show
Hair by Stephen Low at Neville Hair & Beauty using L’Oreal

This is a favourite hair style of the fash pack – that simple, yet stunning Instagram ready ‘I just woke up like this’ look.  Inspired by the likes of Drew Barrymore and Patricia Arquette, this soft style takes references from the 90’s. Nev2

How the look was achieved:

The team started the look with damp hair, prepping it with L’Oreal  Techni Art Pli setting spray. This was sprayed into the hair two to three times to build texture and hold the look naturally, whilst still allowing the hair to looking soft and floaty. Each girl was left with a similar texture, whilst their styles were different, working with the natural parting of the hair. Hair was blow-dried the hair while being combed through with fingers, and more L’Oreal Techni Art Pli was applied again, to achieve that second or third day hair consistency. Finally, some of the girls had their hair loosely pulled back into a low ponytail with the ends flipped over and spread out upwards. A few strands of hair were left to fall around the face for a natural finish.

Look Two!

Palmer Harding SS16
London Fashion Week Presentation
Hair by Stephen Low at Neville Hair & Beauty using L’Oreal  Professionnel

This look for the Palmer Harding SS16 London Fashion Week show was all about complimenting the art gallery in which the collection was presented. That meant clean lines and minimalist neat hair, but with flyaways to give a little movement… now this is a look I think that all of us can have a go at!

How the look was achieved:

The team started the look with damp hair, and using a brush created a centre parting before applying a touch of L’Oreal Techni Art Pli throughout. Then, hair was blow-dried and gently pulled back into a neat pony tail using black hair elastic to secure. As there are lots of high collars in the collection, the pony tail was secured very low on the oxhibital bone. To keep the look natural, flyaways were not tamed.
