If the events of the past week have left you feeling stressed and bewildered, I’m about to offer you a little respite. Sadly it’s not a pre-referendum world or a trip to a sun-soaked island, but it is the next best thing! Picture the most heavenly day of yoga, food, music, wellbeing and fitness to ever grace our wonderful city. This friends,’ is a mini yoga festival like no other. A festival that will have you looking and feeling marvelous, and it’s totally mud free. Let me introduce you to Planet Mannna – a totally new kind of festival that’s hosting pop-ups this summer, at some of London’s most noteworthy venues.
I was recently invited down to Pergola On The Roof to sample what a typical Planet Manna Yoga Festival would be like, and let me assure you, it’s the most stress-reducing, zen-creating, “OM” kind of experience you can hope to take part in. The morning began on a sunshine drenched rooftop, where chilled beats were played, as uber yogi Cat Meffan guided us through an amazing yoga class. After our sun salutations (which clearly worked) we tucked into some amazing, healthy eats and sipped on Jax Coco Water. It was truly the most perfect way to start the day.
The idea is that next year there will be two Planet Manna Yoga Festivals – one in the sun and one by the mountains. Until then, you can sample one of the mini-festivals right here in London. Planet Manna is launching its first Mini Manna on the Roof next Sunday 10th July at Lyric Rooftop in Hammersmith, from 4pm.
