Oh yes ladies and gents, it’s that time again when you get a sneak peek into what I got in my Birchbox this month. The thing I didn’t realise is quite often people get different things in their boxes. I suppose it’s an inventory thing, but I’m sure it all evens out at some point. Thanks You Tube for alerting me of that – now I’m always thinking everyone else’s box is better than mine! #champagneproblems
I really like what I received in the March Birchbox though, and I’m excited to try out everything that’s in it. The only one product that was a bit annoying to receive was the Jergens BB cream, as I literally just bought the full size to try out, and you know how much of a ‘try before you buy’ fan I am. Oh well, the mini one will be strictly reserved for travel, and I’ll do a blog post on it soon to let you know my thoughts on the products.. hot or not.. we will see!
I feel like the theme of this box was crazy cute packaging! First up to impress was the Atelier Cologne, that came in a glassine sleeve ( a personal fave of mine and used as part of my wedding invites!) There was also a very well styled postcard and then the mini cologne itself. Adorable.
Next in the ‘too cute for words packaging category’ was theBalm – How ‘Bout Them Apples?’ – firstly the name is awesome and secondly, this product looks absolutely darling. I never use that word but it feels appropriate to describe this. It’s a tiny cheek & lip cream, from the just launched palette – a dual purpose creamy stain that I can’t wait to try.
We also received a Vasanti Cosmetics – BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator in the March Birchbox. Being massively in to face washes this was a welcome addition to the box. Apparently the product mimics the effects of microdermabrasion, and that is needed on my dry flaky skin.
Lastly in the March Birchbox, there was the Obliphica Professional Intensive Hair Serum which is supposed to nourish hair with omega rich sea buckthorn berry. Now I personally really neglect my hair when it comes to products so I love trying out new hair bits and pieces. I will invest one day, just as soon as I find products that work for my crazy locks.
All in all a good box!
