So you’ve made it through the first week of the new year. How was it for you? To be honest, I found it really quite hard. After a couple of weeks off, not to mention all those festivities and then an amazing jaunt to Copenhagen, the first week ‘back to reality’ stung. Like real bad. I literally wanted to go home and sleep every day after work, but one week in, it’s starting to feel normal again. So, in the name of fresning things up around here, there’s going to be a few changes – starting with Sunday. Let me introduce you to The Sunday Session! A new feature on my blog which will take place every Sunday showing you all the fab-tastic links and things I’ve been loving during the week. A round-up if you will of goodness that I’m crushing on and well frankly, needs to be shared. So here goes!
1.I know this is so cliche for January but I’m really going to try and eat clean this year. Not a diet! I just want to be like all those girls on Instagram whipping up delicious dairy free, sugar-less treats… you know those girls. So, I asked for Get the Glow by Madeline Shaw for Christmas and it’s packed full of amazing recipes to try. FYI – she’s the gal who’s responisble for getting Sam Smith hot to trot.
2. In keeping with said theme above, I also snagged myself some awesome leggings and a crop top from Lululemon. They really keep you all sucked in and they look great too. I wouldn’t normally buy this brand as the prices are a little too pricey for moi, but the sale is pretty great, so if you’re looking for some sporty bits, head on over!
3. In the name of trying to be healthy and cook at home more, I’m still loving my Gusto Boxes. You choose as many recipes as you would like for the week (I choose 3 per week when I’m going to be home) and then they deliver you all the ingredients and tell you exactly how to make them. It’s pretty darn delicious and makes me feel like Jamie Oliver. For real. If you fancy trying Gusto, just use my code: ANNA54867 for 25 pounds off your first box!
4. A little brand re-visit? Yep, After a heavenly facial at Liz Earle, I decided to get back into the brand and bought an embarrassing amount of products. I am legitimately a beauty product hoarder! But, it’s totally worth it because the Cleanse and Polish kit makes your skin feel beautifully clean and lovely.
5. I finally got my hands on the Hourglass Ambient lighting palette. I haven’t actually tried it yet because yep, I’m that much of a hoarder and really it looks way too beautiful to use but I can already predict it’s going to be love!
