Real Madrid won the most expensive European Cup title for the 14th time, with a narrow victory over Liverpool (1:0). Among the winners were experienced midfielders “Karim” Isco and Bale.
But all good things come to an end. On their official website, the Royal Club announced the release of 32-year-old Bale and 30-year-old Isco.
The players gave the club 9 years of their career and won 19 titles with the Blancos: 5 Champions League Cups, 4 Club World Championships, 3 European Super Cups, 3 Spanish Championships, 1 Spanish Cup and 3 Spanish Super Cups.

Both players joined the team in 2013. The Welshman came from Tottenham Hotspur in London and the Spaniard from Malaga.
Bale became the Champions League final champion twice: in 2014 he scored the winning goal against Atlético, and in 2018 in the Kyiv NSC “Olympic” he scored a double against Liverpool.

Note that in recent times, players have not often been part of Ancelotti’s squad. Last season, Isco participated in the field 17 times in the Real Madrid shirt, scoring two goals. Bale played only 7 matches in all tournaments and scored one goal.

We previously mentioned that UEFA does not consider Lunin and Isco to be Champions League winners. The fact is that these players have not played in the tournament for the team for a minute and therefore the winners cannot be named.
