Rivne’s representatives performed at the Multinations-2022 international swimming competitions
Representatives of the Specialized School for Children and Youth Sports of the Olympic Reserve (SDYUSSHOR) № 2 in the city of Rivne as part of the national team performed at the International Swimming Competitions Multinations-2022.
The international competitions were held from 9 to 10 April in Limassol (Cyprus). This was reported on the SDYUSSHOR № 2 Facebook page.
15 national teams took part in youth competitions between boys born in 2006-2007 and girls born in 2007-2008: Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Israel, Cyprus, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Finland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland.
As part of the national team of Ukraine, Rivne swimmers took the following places:
- Vlada Trachuk Seventh place in the 400 swimming pool distance, tenth place in the 800 freestyle distance, and fifth place in the 200 swimming complex distance.
- Andrei Polotsky 17th in the 200 distance behind, 22nd in the 100th distance in the back, 13th in the distance 1500 freestyle.
- Jan Rublev 24th place in the 100 freestyle distance, sixth place in the relay race 4 x 200 freestyle among youth, fourth place in the distance of 200 freestyle, and fourth place in the swimming relay 4 x 100 freestyle among youth.
It should be noted that for the first time, Yan Rublev achieved the standard of Ukrainian Master of Sports in the 200-meter freestyle.
